ai pia jia eh yia

Our last night out before the yanster and shing leaves fer London saw us havin drinks at breko, holland v. Too bad breko doesn't have hennessy or we could've ordered a bottle and tried to scoot off without payin like last night eh? Yup as I was sayin, drinks at breko den headed home supposedly fer an early night. I say supposedly solely cause I expected to hit the sack upon reachin home yet fate had other plans fer me. The thought of them leavin got me thinking about one thing which lead to another and another and another.... Whats a guy gotta do when troubled at 230am in the morning with no one to turn to? Drink and watch soppy korean drama serials and the oc season 3 of course!

Even after a couple of drinks, season 3 episode 3 of the oc and 2 episodes of stairway to heaven I was still nowhere close to falling asleep. Next up, callin the best friend in hope that he wakes up to listen to me rattle on about "life". When at 530 and having watched one too many dramas, one does funny things and in the case of yours truly, one uploads hokkien oldies into the ipod and heads out fer a jog.

With the cool morning air greetin my lungs, the emptied roads callin to be eaten up by my marathon winning pace and "ai pia jia eh yia" blasting from the ipod, I felt unstoppable, not even torrid muscle aches bothering me for days, unstoppable! One thing though, ever tried runnin in near darkness along secluded roads with hokkien oldies playin on the ipod? Kinda eerie I tell ya, but fun all the same. Ai pia jia eh yia!

Having conquered the all intimidating "lewis' jogging route", survived by only a handful of brave and fit souls, I returned home a triumphant albeit shagged out guy. With all that drama watchin and late night joggin I saw it fit to reward myself with a nice stroll to the nerby kopitiam for a nice breakfast. So it was that I got me trusty wallet and took a nice warm down stroll to the kopitiam at the HDB flats and ordered meself a "MILO PENG!!!" and breakfast to go fer the family. Yup, apart from watchin dramas and joggin to hokkien oldies in the wee hours of the morning, lewis also buys breakfast fer his family, what a guy!

Lets see, I'll probably squeeze in one episode of stairway to heaven before washing up and start to countdown again to the dreaded moment. Can any good samaritan try persuading yanster and shing to quit school and stay in sunny singapore??? I'll be eternally grateful.... Oh you dun have much time seeing that their flight is at midnight so, *CHOP CHOP!!!!

infinitus

A throwback of the past I seek, a stepback into history I wanna take. Or perhaps, a kind soul with the magical ability would pilfer all my unwanted wrongs.

For all the fun had and the experiences shared, I've lost so much more over the summer than I'd gained. Yes, this feeling has been bothering me all along but as the date draws nearer, all of a sudden it just feels as though this issue has been thrown under the microscope and magnified right infront of me very eyes. See, I would liken the situation to that when faced with making the choice between a vintage 1963 pinot and the best wine you've just ever created.

Option 1: The pinot, all of 42 years old, has been stored to perfection in a French cellar and is now ready to be broken out fer a party consisting of your closest friends along the French Riviera. The beautiful flowers, the cheese platters, the magnificent company, all under the nice glowing sun whilst savouring the pinot.

Option 2: Having had your hands in wine making fer most of your life, you've created a batch of your best wine ever after toiling and sweating, crushing and fermenting the grapes. You've worked so hard and the wine has this special connection to you but you cant consume it as yet cause it has to be kept. Unlike the '63 pinot, yours can be kept fer as long as you want with a high possibility you'll savour it more, with the catch being that you gotta stand the test of time.

Instant gratification with a fantastic vintage or the build up of a good wine with a personal touch with the end result being that you'll savour it more? Havin to draw from the experiences of the past few months, I would definately go wit option 2. Yes, theres no gurantee that your wine may be of as high a standard as the pinot's but at least the possibility that you'll savour it more is higher. One more thing, what if the pinot, as fantastic as it is isn't suitable for you? Definately you wun encounter such a probelm with your hand made wine as love and sweat went into making it.

Hey MAMBO

A pitch black room lit only by my laptop on me bed, with me typing away and listening to mambolicious tunes at 2.35 in the morning. And so it has started, the usual routine of "insomnia" during the period nearing my exams. Wassup wit this shit.....

*woh oh oh oh oh, square roooooooo ooooms

I thank god that 7th month is finally over as I highly suspect I stepped on the toes(or whateva thats left) of some spirit. But judging by the incidents thats transpired the past month, make that spiritSSSSSSS. One thing I've learnt, never mess wit the metaphysical.

*we'll always be together, together in electric dreamsssssss

Lets recollect, a car accident, 9 grand worth of damage, nearly gettin knocked down by a van on a busy road(lots of horning and braking involved), projects and issues with certain individuals. Definately not a good month fer me, without a shadow of a doubt a fucked up month it was. Ok maybe things not gonna look up so soon as I've still to contend wit the sleepless nights and exams. Sweet jesus mother of god, gotta wait fer a couple more weeks fer some semblance of normality.

*whispering our goodbyes, waiting for a train, I was dancing wit my baby in summer rain

This mambo jambo stuff is jus fantabulous. All of a sudden I've taken to this inexplicable phase of mambo tunes. Know the first line of "together in electric dreams", "I only knew you for awhile, I never saw your smile, till it was time to go.... time to go away(time to go away)". Isit playin in your head yet? It better be for that line is absofuckinlutely kickass. The moment the first beat plays, you jus know that it'll make you take to the dancefloor like a puppy scatterring the monring dew on a beeeeeeautiful spring day, without inhibitions. Dun you jus love mambo?

I had better end this entry or risk sounding like an obsessed freak eh.

*all night long I'm horny, all night long I'm horny, all night long I'm horny............
